Post original content you made for the fediverse. 1. Only Post Your Own Work
[OC] Everything posted here must be created by you. No reposting other people’s
work, even with credit. If you didn’t make it, don’t post it. 2. Use Descriptive
Titles & Formats Include the medium or type of content in brackets in your title
(e.g., [Painting] Sunset over the hills or [Music] My new indie rock track). Do
not use clickbait or vague titles like “Does this look good?” 3. Share the
Process (Optional but Encouraged) Whenever possible, leave a brief comment
explaining your process, the tools you used, or the inspiration behind your
creation. This helps spark meaningful conversation. 4. Constructive Criticism
Only Feedback should be helpful and respectful. Insults or low-effort
praise/hate (e.g., “This sucks” or just “Cool”) don’t help creators grow. Focus
on why something works or how it could be improved. 5. No Excessive
Self-Promotion or Selling This is a space to share your craft, not a
marketplace. Links to your portfolio, shop, or social media are allowed only in
the comments section of your post, not in the title or as standalone link posts.
6. No AI-Generated Content To protect the spirit of human creativity, all
submissions must be human-made. AI-assisted tools are okay if disclosed, but
purely AI-generated text, art, or music is not permitted.
Heya, I made a community for posting OC.
https://lemmy.ml/c/original
Are there others on lemmy.ml I should know of? I did a few searches but I might not know what to look for.
Each of the things the person listed has a community for posting OC. Its mostly a matter of which one specifically youre looking for.
That’s fine, if there isn’t a community for posting original content don’t try making one fit.
